March went out on a real high with coaching sessions delivered by Richard Hill, the recent Bristol Coach,
and former coach of Newport, Ebbw Vale and Gloucester, as well as having been one of the finest scrum halves ever to have
worn an England shirt.
Richard did not only coach the Under 18s on Friday night, but also the Under 12s first thing on Saturday morning followed
by the Under 15. The sessions were excellent and Richard's enthusiasm, knowledge and ability as the best coach in the country
challenged the girls to operate at their best.
Providing options for the ball carrier was a theme carried forward from previous weeks - and the girls, inspired by the
task, rose to the challenge. The under 18s performed especially well, although Richard's session brought out the best in all
the girls.
This was an exceptional experience for all concerned, although the players may not realise that yet. Richard's technical
and tactical knowledge was anticipated, as was his communication and coaching skills. What set Richard apart was his real
and genuine enthusiasm for coaching, his obvious desire to deliver his best for the players and their desire to do the best
for him.
